Claudine college of Nursing

The 2nd of July, 1996 was a significant day, marking an important milestone in the history of Leonard Hospital: the long awaited dream of having a School of Nursing became a reality. Run by the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, Batlagundu, Madurai Province, the School shares the motto of heading TOWARDS WHOLENESS IN LOVE AND SERVICE. The School was begun under the board of Nursing Education of the Christian Medical Association and the first batch of 20 students began their studies.

On the 15th of July, 1998, the Board of Nursing Education of the Tamil Nadu State Government gave us recognition. The School started with an aim of training the young women who by the dedicated and selfless bring wholeness to many in the footsteps of Christ, the Divine Master & Healer

The Claudine School of Nursing offers a Diploma Programme in General Nursing and Midwifery for three and a half years with an intake of twenty students per year. Thus far 360 Trained Nurses have been sent out to the world.

On successful completion of the course,a diploma is awarded by the Tamil Nadu State Government and registered by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
